To prevent kidney diseases, we have to protect ourselves from diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes. Both of these diseases are commonly known as silent killers. Therefore, to avoid these diseases, we have to reconsider our diet and lifestyle. These views were expressed by Ayesha Malik, Social Mobilizer and Incharge of Women’s Wing of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud-e-Insaniyat, while talking to the students at the event organized at The Radiant Public School, Kalyaal regarding the role of kidney health and welfare organizations. While addressing the students at the event, Admin Officer Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud-e-Insaniyat Majid Abdul Munir, renowned educationist Professor Sagheer Asi told the students that the Free Kidney Dialysis Center has been providing free treatment facilities to deserving patients for the past twenty-two years. The dialysis center located in the building of Divisional Teaching Hospital, Mirpur is treating the suffering of people with the donations of philanthropists, where you people have paid attention to the health of yourself and your family. You have to play your part for the suffering humanity by becoming a member of the Human Welfare Association. On this occasion, the school administration was requested to take the students to visit the Free Kidney Dialysis Center so that the knowledge of the students can be further increased. The school principal, Ms. Tahir Shamim, thanked the team of the Human Welfare Association and the President of the Human Welfare Association, Dr. Tahir Mahmood and said that we are proud that there are such people in our Mirpur who are not only playing their role in ensuring the treatment of deserving and poor patients but are also raising awareness among the general public and especially students to prevent diseases and improve the environment. She said that God willing, we will make the Free Kidney Dialysis Center more active and better together with the Human Welfare Association. At the end of the ceremony, the blood pressure and sugar levels of the school staff and students were also tested.
