Brigadier Amir Raza Tipu, Secretary of Health, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, visited the Free Kidney Dialysis Centre established at the Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital, Mirpur AJK. On this occasion, he held a special meeting with the President of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbood-e-Insaniyat Mirpur, Dr. Tahir Mahmood, during which various matters of mutual interest were discussed in detail.
During the visit, Medical Superintendent Dr. Amir Aziz, Principal of Benazir Bhutto Medical College Dr. Faisal Basheer, Senior Medical Specialist Dr. Tariq Masood, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Maria Zulfiqar, well-known social personality Chaudhry Muhammad Shakeel, Admin Officers Jahangir Mughal and Muneer Abdul Majid, along with other distinguished individuals were also present.
A detailed briefing was given regarding the administrative and medical facilities of the Dialysis Centre and various proposals were discussed to further improve healthcare services for patients.
On this occasion, Dr. Tahir Mahmood, President of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbood-e-Insaniyat, presented an honorary shield to the distinguished guest and expressed gratitude for his visit.
Secretary Health AJK, Brigadier Amir Raza Tipu, assured full cooperation on behalf of the Health Department and reiterated the commitment to continue working together for the welfare of humanity.
